We made about a dozen and have only two of these specificly large marquise shapes left. This one is especially spectacular! A hard to describe hue but let me try.
Overall the look is a bright'seaglass' green with secondary pallette of blue, followed by shocks of gold and then reddish pink undertones. The opals have directions that move up and down, side to side, like schools of fish passing each other under the tropical waters. So many colroful firey flashes in this piece, you'll love the playful nature of it.
At the same time, it has quite a substanial'presence' by it's size/scale and shape. It's a heavier piece as well at 1- grams! Solid in every way, and well made. Set into a Long and deep sterling silver 925 setting that has been highly polished.
A spectacular piece in scale and'bling factor'. A full 2.1/4" long and 3/4" wide. This is such a striking piece, you'll marvel at it's beauty! There are inlaid opals set into their host rock (ironstone) backing. The opals are extremenly colorful and fire-filled to massive heights! Very bright hues in blue and green singing high notes as you move your piece back and forth. The setting is solid sterling silver 925 with a hidden bail that will house an average sized chain up to 5mm thick. Usually pendants this large are bulky and uncomfortable but not this one! Designed to sit and'stay' on your neck. The item "Huge SEAGLASS GREEN BLUE RED Opal Prototype Sterling Heavy solid Pendant" is in sale since Monday, February 4, 2019.
