(Please Read Through For Information). Here we have a lovely natural solid polished boulder opal pendant. It has been drilled, ready to be made into jewellery.

Beautiful patterns with blue, purple and green opal matrix with some small crystal nut eyes. It is a beautiful unique opal which would be nice to add to a collection, made into jewellery or a special gift idea. Please keep in mind that the pictures have been enlarged to show detail, they are not to scale which in result some of the colour and stone appearance can be potentially slightly different on hand. Please be aware of what you are purchasing. Any gemstone rough can only produce what the rough allows and not what you think it should cut or produce. The stone can only be cut to what the stone is and if unsure please do not cut and seek advise and only cut when certain and confident but still please be aware of risk in cutting.

As all cutters are aware, not all stones will cut and react the way you wish, flexibility and adaptation can sometimes be required when cutting and what you want cannot be forced onto a stone if not possible. Once a stone is cut it cannot be uncut, neither can colour be put back on when rubbed off or gone. So please be sure when cutting, as the saying goes measure twice cut once. Also if a cutter wishes to explore and rub off colour that is there thinking there is more colour inside of it/underneath the initial face seeking the possibility of better colour and it doesn't work out, we do not take responsibility, it is in the cutters responsibilities and risk taken.

The rough can only produce what the rough can produce, nothing more, nothing less. Sometimes you have to cut to how the stone wants to be cut and not what you want if the stone is not capable of it - for example if the rough is best for carving, dremmel cut or specimen, a standard cabochon cannot be achieved to maximise result/best result possible.
