Solid Black Opal Aqua Green Red Colouring Hand Cut Large 1.85 Carat Cab
Hello and welcome to splendid specimens. I always get excited about an Opal with Aqua. This striking gemstone has those gorgeous seafoam ocean blues and Aqua tones followed up with some very dramatic red, orange, green, pink, yellow and blues with purple.
One side of this black opal had pot with absolutely no colour. The other side however was very beautiful and contained all these colours in the photographs. There was only one logical thing to do and that was to get to the cutting machine and remove anything without colour. Finished in a beautiful and traditional overcut cabochon this gemstone displays fantastic colours as the sunlight enters the gemstone.
11.60 x 8 x 3.65 mm this gemstone is 1.85CRT. The thing that most people love about Opal is the carat weight doesn't need to be a really high number to still have a fantastic size. This is simply because Opal is very light.This is a very solid black with all of those fantastic colours that I could photograph for days.
